Competencies from the Business Services Training Package are integrated throughout the Mini MBA. Each of these standards has a series of elements and performance criteria i.e. skills and knowledge requirements, which are used in an assessment process to determine if those involved in the course are “competent” in performing this set of skills and implementing the knowledge.
How does it work? Whilst we have integrated the competencies through the Mini MBA course, they do not occur as a “tick-a-box” approach. As you work through each module and session in the Mini MBA, you may be learning knowledge and achieving skills associated with one or more competencies. This approach to learning creates a more logical flow as you learn about management principles.
